Our Mission
The Baldwin County Trailblazers supports livable communities by working in four key areas to promote safe, well maintained pedestrian and bike trails throughout the county:
Advocacy: Coordinate with the local community to champion the construction, maintenance, and safe use of trails and other bike-ped infrastructure across Baldwin County.
Connection: Work in partnership with government and other interested entities to identify needs and opportunities for bicycle and pedestrian facilities spanning more than a dozen county and municipal jurisdictions.
Education: Teach the public about the advantages and safe use of non-motorized transportation facilities to promote healthy lifestyles.
Fundraising: Develop plans to identify community needs for bike-ped resources, determine the appropriate means to address them, ascertain funding requirements, and connect with funding sources to meet those needs.
