Trails and Greenways Clearinghouse:  Provides technical assistance, information resources, and referrals to trail and greenway advocates across the nation. 

Check the Safe Routes To School for federally funded improvements such as sidewalks, striped cross walks, bike racks, etc. or chanes in street design within a two mile radius of you child's school.  The Safe Routes to Schools program is designed to decrease traffic and air pollution in school zones and increase the health of children.  For specifics go to the Alabama Agency for Safe Routes to School.
